2026
Our first gig of the year is to be with our friends at BDQ in Puivert on 8th February.
Please join us for a few songs and some of their lovely craft beer.
We are starting to build our programme of events, and details will be posted here as we get confirmed details.

We have been invited to sing at the biennial maritime festival in Sète.
We have performed at this festival many times and we keep getting asked back.
We had some diverse and
interesting gigs during 2025. Starting the year with a
guest appearance of the renowned shanty singer and shanty
song writer, Mr Tom Lewis, at BDQ in Puivert, we were to do
a follow-up gig there in May. We enabled a series of four
gigs in Villelongue d'Aude, appearing there ourselves for
one of the events, and suported by other local bands. We had
a spot at an English Summer Fete in St Colombe sur l'Hers in
June and then we travelled further afield to Port Leucate,
where we helped the SNSM to fund raise for their 200th
anniversary. Then, we travelled even
further, to foreign lands, to Weston Super Mare in England,
by invitation, to sing a few songs. This was later followed
by a visit to Harwich International Shanty Festival in
October. We supported Solid'Air in Limoux for two concerts,
one being part of the nationwide Télèthon
event that is held every year in December. We conceived a Trafalgar
Night event in October, to commemorate the death of Lord
Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar, an event that was sold
out and hopefully repeated next year. Finally we were invited to
sing for Cave Capdepon in Villelongue d'Aude for the
Christmas event, a first for us.![]()

In addition to these events in 2025, we also took part in:
1. a private birthday party for 80 years old Jackie, at Alet les Bains, on 17th May.
2. the annual Cambieure Street Party on 23rd August.
3. a concert for Trivalle Barbicane in Carcassonne on 27th September.

This year, as we do each year, we supported our friends,
Mirepoix Folk, with a stand-alone concert in Mirepoix.

We are always pleased to be invited to sing at local events.
